The Oakland A's today introduced the next generation of the Ballpark Pass with the "Treehouse Pass," a monthly ticket subscription that gives fans access to The Treehouse for every regular season home game for just $29.99 a month.
Fans who purchase the Treehouse Pass will have access to The Treehouse only, a new destination area above the left field bleachers in the Oakland Coliseum. While The Treehouse is open to all fans and a special ticket is not needed to access the area, fans with the Treehouse Pass will only have access to this area and will not be able to access the rest of the ballpark.
The digital ticket pass has two pricing options: a monthly subscription for $29.99 per month for six-months, or an annual fee of $149.99. Both options will auto-renew each season, with no cancellation fees at any time. The Treehouse Pass will be delivered directly to a mobile device via the MLB Ballpark App. Treehouse Pass holders will be offered live ticket upgrades into the bowl area and the rest of the ballpark before and during the game, and will receive additional incentives, such as preloaded upgrades, and discounts on food and drink in The Treehouse.
The Treehouse features two full-service bars, unique and traditional ballpark fare, general admission seating, numerous televisions, and pre- and postgame entertainment. Standing room, lounge seating, and general admission seating are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Treehouse Pass holders will enter the Coliseum only via the LL and MM Gates at the BART Entrance.
The team announced plans for The Treehouse on February 26, 2018. The 10,000-square foot area includes three unique spaces: a redwood patio deck with a bar and lounge seating; interior space - which is at the north end of the Eastside Club - inspired by an urban treehouse featuring wood and metal elements, a renovated bar, a living wall, televisions, and lounge seating options; and a redwood deck with drink rails and views of the field.
