Padres sign 28 selections from 2019 MLB Draft

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Padres announced today they have agreed to terms with 28 of the 41 players selected in the 2019 MLB First-Year Player Draft, as well as one non-drafted free agent. Executive Vice President/General Manager A.J. Preller and Director of Amateur Scouting Mark Conner made the announcement.

Including the non-drafted free agent, the Padres have signed two catchers, four infielders, six outfielders and 17 pitchers (7 LHP, 10 RHP). The club agreed to terms with 24 college players and five out of high school. See above for a full list of players signed from the 2019 Draft.
