This week, the Phillies host the San Diego Padres for the first home series of the season. Below are the top 5 things to know. 

The Phillies first night game of 2016 is on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:05 p.m. It is also the first Hatfield Phillies Franks Dollar Dog Night of the season. Plus, all fans 15 and over will get a McDonald's Opening Night T-Shirt.

Ashburn Alley opens at 5:05 p.m., all gates open at 5:35 p.m.

Tuesday is also the start of the Phillies College Night Series. College students and recent graduates are invited to go behind-the-scenes with Phillies executives prior to select games. College Media Night presented by PRSSA is on Tuesday, April 12 and the sold-out College Business Intelligence Night is on Wednesday, April 13 - both in the media room. Wednesday, April 13 at the 7:05 p.m. game, all fans will receive a DraftKings Schedule Magnet at all gates, which open at 5:35 p.m.; Ashburn Alley opens at 5:05 p.m.

Thursday, April 14 is the first Citizens Bank Businessperson's Special of the season at 1:05 p.m. It's a great way to kick back with coworkers or entertain a client.

The four hosts of "Breakfast on Broad", Rob Ellis, Jillian Mele, Barrett Brooks and Sarah Baicker, will throw out the ceremonial first ball in celebration of the first anniversary of their show on The Comcast Network.

Then, after the game, seniors 55 and over are invited to go onto the field and stroll the bases.

Ashburn Alley opens at 11:05 a.m., all gates open at 11:35 a.m.

Every day of the Padres series, the Anheuser-Busch Bud and Burgers Trailer will be parked on Citizens Bank Way, serving up fresh burgers and beer pre-game.

April 12th and 13th games will be broadcast on The Comcast Network and the April 14th game will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet. MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP will host all games in the series.
