The Pittsburgh Pirates today traded catcher Austin Hedges to the Texas Rangers in exchange for international cap space.
In exchange, the Pirates will receive additional capacity in their 2023-2024 International Signing Bonus Pool. The announcement was made by Pirates General Manager Ben Cherington.
