The Pittsburgh Pirates released their 2018 promotional schedule and announced today fans will have the first opportunity to buy 2018 single-game tickets starting Friday, December 8, 2017.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. for all games including Opening Day at PNC Park, scheduled for 1:05 p.m. on Monday, April 2 vs the Minnesota Twins. The Pirates have 42 promotional dates scheduled for 2018, including 21 dates of promotional giveaways for the first 20,000 fans, 14 Kids Days and seven Zambelli Fireworks nights.
Leading up to the public on-sale, there will be several special pre-sale opportunities available, such as tomorrow, Tuesday, November 21 at 10 a.m. for Full-Season Tickets Holders, Half-Season Ticket Holders, 20-Game Season Ticket Holders and on Wednesday, November 29 for Pirates.com Registered Users, Group Leaders and more.

The fan promotions will start immediately as all fans in attendance for the 2018 Home Opener at PNC Park will receive a Pirates 2018 magnetic schedule, courtesy of PNC Bank. The promotional calendar also features five bobblehead dates including:
Pirates Vintage Bobblehead will be given out on Saturday, May 19 vs the San Diego Padres. A throwback to some of the first bobbleheads created for sports teams will sure to be a prize for any collector.
The exclusive Sean Rodriguez walkoff bobblehead will be available on Saturday, June 23 vs the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2017, Sean Rodriguez returned to the Pirates via a trade with the Atlanta Braves and immediately made an impact with a dramatic 12th inning walkoff home run in his first game back. This unique bobblehead commemorates the special moment as Sean Rod approaches home plate to be greeted by his teammates.
The Pirates will feature first baseman Josh Bell with his own bobblehead on Saturday, July 14 vs Milwaukee Brewers. The 2017 Rookie of the Year finalist finished at or near the top of nearly every offensive category among N.L. rookies and tied the Club mark for most home runs by a rookie.
The Bucs will pay tribute to five-time Gold Glover Andy Van Slyke with an action bobblehead on Saturday, August 4 vs the St. Louis Cardinals. Van Slyke roamed the Pirates outfield from 1987 to 1994.
Felipe Rivero bobblehead on Saturday, September 8 vs the Miami Marlins. In 2017, the hard-throwing lefty's 21 saves were the second-highest total by a left-handed pitcher in Club history.
Sundays are Kids Days at PNC Park with 14 dates specially reserved for family fun in and around the ballpark. Sunday dates include some great giveaways such as:
