Pirates announce new 3-year agreement with MillerCoors

Deal to include naming rights of ballpark areas and a new ticket offer

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced an expanded three-year partnership with MillerCoors LLC for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons as the brewing company commits to renewing the ongoing relationship. The new agreement includes naming rights of several areas of the ballpark as well as promotional assets, including a new ticket promotion that offers fans the best of both worlds, Pirates baseball and an opportunity to enjoy a complimentary MillerCoors product.

This announced agreement names MillerCoors the presenting partner of the PNC Park Skull Bar, a full-service bar area located in the right field corner on the Main Concourse level. The newly branded Miller Lite Skull Bar is a partially enclosed bar area complete with a group seating area, available for reservations, with great views of the field as well as stunning views of the PNC Park skyline.

In addition to the Miller Lite Skull Bar, MillerCoors is named the presenting partner of the Crow’s Nest bar, an outdoor patio bar located on the Main Concourse level. The space is great for large group meet-ups, happy hours and more as the open-air bar offers great views of the city and Pittsburgh’s Point State Park fountain.

Also, this season the Pirates and MillerCoors are teaming up to offer the “Pirates Great Taste Ticket, presented by Miller Lite” promotion for all 2019 home games. For only $20 per ticket, the new mobile-only ticket offer includes a seat in a great seating location at PNC Park and one complimentary beverage in the new Miller Lite Skull Bar.

Each ticket purchased through pirates.com/greattaste includes:

• A digital ticket for a seat in the sections around the Miller Lite Skull Bar (sections 101, 146 and 147)

• $9 in Loaded Value* to be redeemed at the Miller Lite Skull Bar, the Crow’s Nest, or any concession area at PNC Park

Fans are encouraged to come to PNC Park early every Friday night as MillerCoors will now be the presenting partner of the 2019 Miller Lite Happy Hours during all Friday night home games. The nights will include drink specials at the Crow’s Nest bar, music and more from the time gates open to the right before first pitch (5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

The new agreement between the Pirates and MillerCoors also includes two large group nights for the Pirates partner, complete with unique pregame and in-game experiences; television, radio and print advertising exposure are included in the deal as well.
