The Pirates have optioned RHP Jameson Taillon to Triple-A Indianapolis and have recalled LHP Kyle Lobstein from Indianapolis. Lobstein will wear uniform #53.
Lobstein is in his third stint with the Pirates this season. He began the season with Pittsburgh and was the winning pitcher at Coors Field on 4/27.
Lobstein made his last appearance with Indy on Sunday; he started and received a no-decision at Toledo in game 2 of a doubleheader (3.0ip/2er - 43 pitches).
He has pitched at least 2.0 innings in eight of his 10 big league games this season.
