Pirates to offer "Dollar Dogs" during select home games in 2018

New for the 2018 season, the Pittsburgh Pirates announced a special fan value promotion with their Friday night "Dollar Dog Nights," presented by Sugardale. Beginning Friday, April 6, as the Pirates host the Cincinnati Reds, the first combined "Dollar Dog Night" and Free Shirt Friday night of 2018 at PNC Park.

New for the 2018 season, the Pittsburgh Pirates announced a special fan value promotion with their Friday night "Dollar Dog Nights," presented by Sugardale. Beginning Friday, April 6, as the Pirates host the Cincinnati Reds, the first combined "Dollar Dog Night" and Free Shirt Friday night of 2018 at PNC Park.
The Pirates have designated a total of eight home games as Dollar Dog Nights to coincide with the Pirates' popular Free Shirt Friday promotions. During "Dollar Dog" Fridays, fans can visit any Aramark North Shore concession stands throughout the ballpark and purchase regular hot dogs for just one dollar each.
"We are constantly striving to find additional ways to provide value for our fans, as well as to demonstrate our appreciation for their support," said Frank Coonelly, Pirates President. "We are pleased to partner with Sugardale to bring "Dollar Dog Nights" to PNC Park to further enhance the family-friendly atmosphere we offer our fans."
The eight Friday night "Dollar Dog" dates are as follows:
• April 6 vs. Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.)
• May 11 vs San Francisco Giants (7:05 p.m.)
• May 25 vs St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.)
• June 15 vs Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.)
• July 13 vs Milwaukee Brewers (7:05 p.m.)
• August 3 vs St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.)
• August 17 vs Chicago Cubs (7:05 p.m.)
• September 7 vs Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)
