Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers today announced an Opening Day ticket opportunity as the team prepares to host the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, March 28 at 6:35 p.m. at Globe Life Field.

Fans who become a Rangers Insider by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 17 will be entered into a random drawing. Selected winners will have the opportunity to purchase up to two ticket packages, on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19. Each ticket package will include an Opening Day ticket and a ticket of equal or greater value to a second game at Globe Life Field. The second game will be chosen by the purchaser from a preselected list of 32 games at Globe Life Field in 2024.

All winners of the random drawing will be notified on Monday, March 18. Fans can become a Rangers Insider at rangers.com/insider.

Opening Day against the Chicago Cubs is the Rangers’ 53rd home opener in franchise history and fifth at Globe Life Field. Parking lots open at 2:00 p.m. with ballpark gates set to open at 3:30 p.m. The Rangers also hosted the Cubs on Opening Day in 2019, the final home opener at Globe Life Park.

Opening Day is part of a three-game, four-day series against Chicago to begin the 2024 season. Following the home opener, the Rangers have an off-day Friday before hosting the Cubs on Saturday, March 30 at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday, March 31 at 1:35 p.m.

The opening weekend will be packed with pageantry and promotions with the Club set to unveil the 2023 World Series Champions banner as part of the Opening Day ceremonies on Thursday. Prior to Saturday's game, the team will receive their World Series rings in an on-field ceremony. The defending World Series champions will wear gold-trimmed uniforms, complete with the gold “T” on their blue caps, for the entire opening weekend.

Also on Opening Day, all fans 21 and older will receive the 2024 Magnetic Schedule presented by Budweiser. On Sunday, all kids 13 and under can enjoy $1 Ice Cream presented by Blue Bell.

The full schedule of pregame ceremonies for the March 28 home opener will be announced the week of March 25. Tickets for the first homestand and all Rangers home games during the 2024 season can be purchased at rangers.com, by phone at 972-RANGERS, or at the Southeast Box Office at Globe Life Field.
