OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Oakland A’s will continue coverage on their A’s Cast streaming station throughout the 2019 Postseason and into the offseason, the team announced today. A’s Cast, the No. 1 MLB team podcast this season, will go live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. with baseball coverage and storylines from around the league. The show will re-air from 4 to 7 p.m. during the afternoon commute.

The offseason coverage will feature new programming, including: Building a Hero, featuring long-form stories that chronicle A’s players’ journeys from Little League to the Majors; A’s Breakdown, a chalk-talk breakdown of the inside stories from the A’s 2019 season; plus, special programming highlighting key offseason stories and Hot Stove specials. 

The A’s Cast lineup will also continue fan-favorites from the regular season, including The Build with Dave Kaval, a podcast on the vision, characters, and stories behind the creation of the most transformative new ballpark project in baseball history; A’s Unfiltered, a podcast hosted by Chris Townsend with stories from the A’s scouting, business operations, and baseball operations teams; Green and Gold History, a recurring series focusing on the colorful and engaging history of the A’s franchise; The David Forst Show, a regular sit-down with the A’s general manager; and High and Tight, up-to-the-minute news and stories from around MLB.   

On March 28, the Club launched A’s Cast, a 24/7 station that includes pre- and postgame shows, breaking news, podcasts, game broadcasts and re-broadcasts, Minor League coverage, and more. Since the debut, the Club has had more than 580,000 downloads of their podcasts and 194,000 hours of programming live streamed, eclipsing all other MLB teams and marking the first time the A’s have had the league’s most popular and downloaded property. In its first five months, the free live stream has driven more than 79,000 unique listeners of one minute or more. Downloads of A’s podcasts have grown more than 1700% compared to the prior 12 months. 

The A’s Cast station features 24/7 coverage of the A’s and is free for fans in most of Northern California. The A’s station can be accessed at athletics.com/ascast. Fans outside of the area can listen to A’s Cast on-demand material for free at athletics.com/podcasts.
