HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Astros have announced a tentative 2021 Alternate Site game schedule, with the opening series set for April 7-8 at the Round Rock Express. The Astros Alternate site team will play a total of eight games.

The Astros Alternate site team will hold their first official home series on April 12-13 vs. the Round Rock Express. They will travel back to Round Rock for a second series from April 19-20. The final series will take place on May 2-3 in Corpus Christi/Sugar Land vs. the Round Rock Express. 

These games will utilize rules similar to those used at the start of Spring Training this year, which included flexibility on the length of games and the ability for pitchers to re-enter the game after being removed.

Additional information on the Astros 2021 Alternate Site games will be released at a later date.

The Astros will announce their Alternate Site roster on Thursday, April 1.

Tickets will not be sold for these games. The Corpus Christi Hooks will allow special access to season ticket holders and sponsors. The Astros and Hooks will announce the media policy for these games in the upcoming days.
