Interactive Art Exhibits
A 20’x8’ interactive shipping container painted by Houston-based artist DUAL is accessible on both gamedays and non-gamedays on Crawford Street. The artist, DUAL, stands for the conflict between “street art” and “fine” art, between freeway burners and gallery exhibitions, between mass recognition and total anonymity. His bold lines and fresh colors are a break from the everyday monotony of city life – a taste of urban subculture, whether you asked for it or not.

An 8’x8’ mobile mural wall that was painted at the ALDS Celebration party on Oct. 13 will also be on display at all home games and watch parties on Crawford Street. This mobile mural wall, painted by Houston based artist, Sylvia Blanco (@blanco_arte on Instagram), is to celebrate the ALDS win. More info on Sylvia can be found on her website, https://www.mantecahtx.com/profiles/sylvia-blanco.html

Another 8’x8’ mobile mural wall painted during the ALCS Celebration party on Oct. 24 by Houston native Jesse de Leon will also be on display at all home games and watch parties on Crawford Street. His interest in art began as soon as he could pick up a pencil. During grade school his love for art blossomed into a passion. He was trusted and encouraged by his academic teachers to share his talent with his school. On many occasions Jesse was asked to create banners for school graduations and banquets. While working at a design firm, his interest in creating murals and faux finishes was born. He has since painted murals, canvases, and faux finishes for designers, businesses, and individuals across the country. His work varies from impressionism to the abstract, and he finds that the composition and use of materials have a strong influence on his creative process.
