HOUSTON, TX - With tonight’s 6-4 win over the Yankees, the Astros clinched the series and the American League Championship title! This marks the Astros third trip to the World Series and their second in the last three seasons, also 2005 and 2017.

ASTROS TEAM STORE OPENS FOR ALL-NIGHT CLINCH EVENT

Tonight’s win officially kicks off the Astros Team Store American League Clinch Event. The AL Pennant Clinch Event began at the Union Station Team Store after the final out of Game 6 of the ALCS and will remain open to the public throughout the night and until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. This special retail event is the very first opportunity for Astros fans to purchase their 2019 Astros American League Champion merchandise.

The Astros Union Station Team Store will provide free breakfast from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and one lucky shopper will go home with a $500 grand prize shopping spree at the Astros Team Store.

2019 WORLD SERIES INFORMATION

Games 1 and 2 of the 2019 World Series will take place in Houston on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 22-23 when the Astros take on the Washington Nationals. Both games will air exclusively on FOX and start at 7:07 p.m. CT. Fans can catch all Astros postseason games on the radio on the Astros flagship radio station 790 KBME AM, in Spanish on La Ranchera 850 AM/101.7 FM, as well as on national stations ESPN Deportes 1230 AM and ESPN radio.

POSTSEASON WATCH PARTIES AND WORLD SERIES HOME GAME TICKETS

Fans are invited to watch every Astros Postseason AWAY game at Minute Maid Park, free of charge, at the Astros Postseason Watch Parties. Fans will need to claim a free Postseason Watch Party voucher for entry at www.astros.com/postseason or at any of the Postseason Watch Party entrances the day of the event. Parking will be available for purchase in all Astros-controlled parking lots. The fun will begin two hours before first pitch with a Postseason Street Fest on Crawford Street, where fans can enjoy live music, food trucks, bar games, inflatables and much more. Games will stream live on the main video board inside Minute Maid Park as well as on large projection screens outside the ballpark.
