The second half of the season officially gets underway on Friday, July 14, as the Phillies take on the San Diego Padres during a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:
1. The series opens Friday, July 14, with a 6:05 p.m. game and the final, must-see postgame Xfinity Fireworks Show with spectacular drone light show effects!
- The United States Army Herald Trumpets will perform the national anthem.
- Colonel Timothy Ferguson will be honored as the Rothman Hometown Hero at the end of the third inning.
2. The Phillies are hosting two games on Saturday, with game #1 beginning at 1:05 p.m. and featuring a Toyota Bryce Harper 2022 NL Champions Replica Ring for all fans!
- Throwing the ceremonial first pitches will be Phillies’ 2008 World Series champion pitcher Ryan Madson and Ronald McDonald House camper Ethan Lee, an experience donated by Toyota.
- Straight No Chaser will perform the national anthem.
- Before the game, fans can enjoy the Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
Note: Game #1 ticketholders will be required to exit the ballpark after the game ends.
3. Game #2 of Saturday’s day-night doubleheader gets underway at 7:05 p.m. and recognizes Budweiser Folds of Honor.
- Maggie Westphal, a medical student at Drexel University’s College of Medicine, will be presented with a $10,000 scholarship on-field as part of Budweiser Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to military families of those who have been killed or disabled while on active duty.
- That night’s Phillies Charities, Inc. 50/50 drawing will benefit the Folds of Honor cause.
- There will also be another pregame Budweiser Block Party at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar.
4. Children 14 and under will receive a PECO J.T. Realmuto Catcher’s Bank on Sunday, July 16, at the 1:35 p.m. game. Plus, Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer, who stars as Satine in the Broadway National Tour of “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” will sing the national anthem.
- Stop by Pass and Stow (outside the Third Base Plaza) from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. to watch a live radio broadcast of the Baseball Insiders Show with Phillies John Brazer and 1993 National League champion Tommy Greene on 1490 WBCB, a Phillies radio affiliate.
- Fans can also enjoy free face painting at The Yard.
5. Bid on team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction on phillies.com/auctions until Thursday, July 27, at 6:00 p.m.
- Items are signed by Phillies’ Alec Bohm, Nick Castellanos, Seranthony Domínguez, Darick Hall, Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins, Brandon Marsh, Aaron Nola, J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, Bryson Stott, Edmundo Sosa, Ranger Suárez, Rob Thomson, Trea Turner, and Zack Wheeler.
- Memorabilia includes baseballs, jerseys, broken bats, World Series and 2022 Division Series Winner locker room caps, along with a base, helmet and home plate.

- Gate Openings: All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.

- Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area. The lot includes an Uber-branded lounge with seating and a charging station.
