ATLANTA (March 21, 2024) — Today, the Atlanta Braves announced a partnership with Ball Corporation to add aluminum beverage packaging to Truist Park. Ball Aluminum Cups® will be available at Truist Park bar locations starting on the Braves Home Opener on April 5 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

All five sizes of Ball Aluminum Cups®, ranging from 9 to 24 ounces, will be available to fans at the ballpark. At least 2.5 million cups are expected to be distributed during the 2024 season. The partnership will also include park signage and recycling initiatives throughout the season.

Ball designed the aluminum cups in response to growing consumer preference for more sustainable products. The cups are composed of 90 percent recycled content, the highest recycled content rate of any beverage packaging in its category. In addition to its sustainability and recycling strengths, the aluminum cup is lightweight, sturdy, cool to the touch and provides an elevated drinking experience.
