Following an exciting weekend where José Bautista was honoured on the Level of Excellence, the fun continues into the week with two more promotion days. The Blue Jays take on the interleague rival Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, Aug. 15, and Wednesday, Aug. 16 (both 7:07 p.m. ET), before heading out on a six-game road trip.
Here’s what’s happening at the ballpark this week:
- Tuesday marks the eighth Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders of the season. Fans are just 24,000 Loonie Dogs away from breaking the 2022 season high mark of 444,854 – help us set a new record tomorrow!
- The first 15,000 fan can grab the 2023 Home Run Derby champion’s jersey on Wednesday, Aug. 16 with the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Blue Replica jersey giveaway.
- Wednesday also marks the annual Jays Care Sportsnet Broadcast Auction presented by TD. The auction takes place live on Sportsnet and at Rogers Centre on the rightfield porch on the 100L beside The Catch Bar. Fans can bid on exclusive packages, unique experiences, autographed memorabilia, and limited-edition bobbleheads. All funds raised support Jays Care programming for more than 50,000 children and youth across Canada. To learn more visit jayscare.com.
