Atlanta Braves to honor those who have served this Veterans Day

November 10th, 2021

ATLANTA (November 10, 2021) – The Atlanta Braves will celebrate the men and women who serve or have served in our nation’s military in honor of Veterans Day this Thursday, November 11.

As a part of their Veterans Day celebration, the Braves will deploy their food truck to the Atlanta VA Medical Center during the 2021 Veterans Day Classic’s Cruise For Our Heroes Parade on November 11 from 11 a.m. – noon. In partnership with Braves concessionaire, Delaware North, and Coors Light, the Braves will prepare 500 plus meals for distribution to patients and staff at the medical center.

The Braves will also recognize veterans through a video tribute. The video will feature Private First-Class Charles George, an Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians tribal member who received the Medal of Honor posthumously after throwing himself on a grenade to save two fellow soldiers during the Korean War. The video will serve to honor PFC George’s legacy and discuss the impact Native Americans have made in our Armed Forces.

The Braves will also offer the men and women who serve our country a special discount on Truist Park stadium tours. Veterans can book discounted tickets for $11 per tour starting November 11 through December 31 at www.Braves.com/Tours. Additionally, the Braves Clubhouse Store will offer all active or retired military members a 20% discount* on November 11.

*Braves Clubhouse Store discount is eligible on entire purchase (including World Series product) but excludes authentics or game used items.
