Catch the D-backs one last time before All-Star break with fan-favorite Star Wars night and specialty events

July 11th, 2024

The force to see the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field this weekend is strong. With only four home games remaining before All-Star break and a six-game road trip to open the second half, fans are encouraged to come out to the ballpark for some baseball, a little bit of community giving and a whole lot fun with specialty nights like Star Wars and Country Night headlining the weekend’s games against the Jays.

Thursday, July 11 vs. Braves @ 6:40

Tonight’s series finale is dedicated to two important community initiatives. The D-backs will raise awareness about Williams Syndrome in support of Mia Sawdaye, daughter of Assistant General Manager Amiel Sawdaye. Mia was born with the rare condition characterized by medical problems tied to cardiovascular disease, developmental delays and learning challenges. D-backs players will wear special shirts prior to the game and the D-backs will host over 1,400 guests impacted by the disease.

Public Safety Day presented by AMR will honor the men and women who keep our community safe with pregame recognitions for Phoenix Police, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Scottsdale Fire and several other Arizona organizations plus ceremonial first pitches from AMR’s Lauren Bennett and Phoenix Fire Department’s Fire Captain Anthony Mock. Fans can purchase a special ticket package that includes a commemorative D-backs Challenge Coin, presented by AMR, with a portion of the sale benefitting PLEA and United Phoenix Firefighters at dbacks.com/publicsafetyday.
