Chicago White Sox RBI, Atlanta Braves RBI and Paterson RBI to compete in the baseball championships of the 2022 RBI World Series on Sat., August 6th

Junior Division Championship (Scheduled for 8:15 a.m. ET) Will Feature Defending Champions Atlanta Braves RBI Against Chicago White Sox RBI; Chicago White Sox RBI Program on “Double Duty” As They Face Paterson RBI in the Senior Division Championship, Streaming LIVE on MLB.com at 11:30 a.m. ET; Both Games Will Be Played in Holman Stadium at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida; Facility to Host Special PLAY BALL Event for Local Kids

The teams competing in the baseball championship games of the RBI World Series tomorrow, Saturday, August 6th, are now set following playoffs today at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) in Vero Beach, Fla. The reigning Junior Division champions, Atlanta Braves RBI (3-1), will take on the Chicago White Sox RBI team (4-1) in the Junior Division Championship, beginning at 8:15 a.m. ET. In the Senior Division Championship Game, the older Chicago White Sox RBI (4-0) team will face Paterson RBI (3-1), streaming LIVE on MLB.com at 11:30 a.m. ET from Holman Stadium at JRTC.

The Senior Division Baseball Championship live stream on MLB.com will be called by Cam Thomas and former RBI World Series Baseball Champion Mo’ne Davis.

Atlanta is making its 39th overall appearance – good for the fourth most in tournament history. The city is also making its 14th overall junior baseball division appearance and second consecutive. Atlanta owns 14 overall RBI World Series championships, the second most behind Los Angeles.

Over the last 25 years, a Chicago baseball team has represented in the RBI World Series 22 times. Chicago has three overall RBI World Series championships, all by the White Sox program and all coming within the 6 years (2016, 2018, 2019).

Paterson, New Jersey is making its fourth appearance in the last seven tournaments following their debut in 2015. They are seeking their city’s first RBI World Series championship.
