Cleveland Guardians announce Kid Cudi Day at Progressive Field on September 22

Kid Cudi Day will be an album release celebration and a curated gameday experience for Cudi’s new album “INSANO”

Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians and Kid Cudi today announced Kid Cudi Day at Progressive Field on Friday September 22, 2023 when the Guardians play host to the Baltimore Orioles at 7:10 p.m. The first 10,000 fans who enter Progressive Filed will be treated to an exclusive Kid Cudi bobblehead designed in collaboration with Cudi.

Kid Cudi Day will be in honor of the work Cudi has done for the Cleveland community and an album release celebration for Cudi’s new album “INSANO”, which will be released in September. Songs from the album will be played throughout the game and during inning breaks.

The Cleveland native will also toss out a Ceremonial First Pitch and act as an in-park host for the night, sharing insight about his new tracks.

Additionally for Kid Cudi night, the Guardians will be adding postgame fireworks to cap off the night soundtracked by Cudi’s music catalogue.

About Kid Cudi

Scott Mescudi, better known by his stage name Kid Cudi, is an American actor, Grammy Award winning musician and multi-platinum recording artist from Cleveland, Ohio. Cudi first debuted on the music scene in 2008 and quickly rose to the top of the Billboard charts.
