Cleveland Minor Leaguer Arias suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Cleveland Guardians Minor League pitcher Jaime Arias, who is currently on the roster of the Double-A Akron RubberDucks of the Eastern League, has received an 80-game suspension after testing positive for GW1516, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
