Colorado Rockies partner with UCHealth to offer vaccination opportunities at Coors Field

Vaccines will be offered during the next homestand as a part of MLB’s League-Wide “Vaccinate At The Plate” program

DENVER – The Colorado Rockies and UCHealth announced today that vaccination opportunities will be made available to the Front Range community at Coors Field during the Rockies’ next homestand. Those who receive a vaccination will be given a voucher that is redeemable for two tickets to a Rockies game.

The first vaccination opportunity will be held Tuesday, June 15th in a UCHealth bus parked on Blake Street in front of Coors Field. The second vaccination opportunity on Friday, June 18th will be held at the same location. The third vaccination opportunity on Saturday, June 19th will be held at the Platte River Rendezvous picnic area, which is located inside the ballpark under the Rockpile seating area.

WHEN AND WHERE

Tuesday, June 15th 5:30-8:30 p.m.: Bus parked on Blake St. in front of Coors Field

Friday, June 18th 5:30-8:30 p.m.: Bus parked on Blake St. in front of Coors Field

Saturday, June 19 6:30-9:30 p.m.: Platte River Rendezvous picnic area

On the 15th and 18th, those receiving a vaccination will be given a choice between two tickets to that night’s game, or a voucher for two tickets to a future game. On the 19th, those receiving a vaccination will be given a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a future game.

These vaccination opportunities are a part of MLB’s ongoing “Vaccinate At The Plate” program, which aims to offer incentives to unvaccinated fans throughout the month of June. Over the course of the pandemic, MLB ballparks have been utilized as mass vaccination sites, administering a total of more than 1 million shots. Since the start of last season, MLB and its Clubs have also provided over 1.5 million COVID-19 PCR tests for schools, youth academies, charities, and the general public at MLB stadiums and in communities throughout the United States.
