PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled INF Kevin Cron and RHP Yoan López from the Alternate Training Site. Following yesterday’s game, the D-backs optioned RHP Joel Payamps and INF Andy Young to the Alternate Training Site. 

Cron, 27, has appeared in 2 games with Arizona this season. He was optioned to the Alternate Training Site on July 29. 

Lopez, 27, has posted a 4.15 ERA (2 ER in 4.1 IP) in 5 relief appearances with the D-backs this season. He was optioned to the Alternate Training Site on Aug. 5. 

Payamps, 26, was recalled from the Alternate Training Site prior to Sunday’s game (did not pitch). 

Young, 26, appeared in 7 games and hit .286 (4-for-14) with 1 double, 1 home run and 3 RBI.
