D-backs reinstate Matt Andriese from the 10-day injured list; optioned Robby Scott to Triple-A Reno following last night’s game

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Matt Andriese (@MAndriese) from the 10-day injured list (left foot contusion). Following last night’s game, the D-backs optioned LHP Robby Scott to Triple-A Reno.

Andriese, 29, who was placed on the injured list on July 20, has appeared in 37 games for the D-backs in 2019, going 4-4 with 1 save, a 5.91 ERA (30 ER in 45.2 IP), .278 opponent average, 51 strikeouts and 20 walks. In 3 rehab appearances, he posted a 15.43 ERA (4 ER in 2.1 IP) with 4 strikeouts with the Rookie-Level AZL D-backs and Single-A Adv. Visalia. 

Scott, 29, has posted a 4.91 ERA (2 ER in 3.2 IP) and 6 strikeouts in 3 appearances with Arizona this season, including 2.2 scoreless innings last night @ Dodgers.
