May 3rd, 2021

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers are launching their annual Dodgers Love LA Community Tour presented by Bank of America with a month of community engagement during May.

The 18th annual Dodgers Love LA Community Tour presented by Bank of America engages a diverse cross section of Angelenos with touchpoints throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Bank of America will support events throughout the month, and take the lead on events to promote “Financial Fitness” and celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

The Tour kicks off with the Champions in the Community Digital Campaign presented by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, where fans can nominate a frontline or essential worker to receive tickets to an upcoming game. Nominations will be accepted via 30-second videos at Dodgers.com/CommunityTour through May 10 for health care personnel, educational staff, first responders, public transit workers, food & agriculture workers, construction and manufacturing workers and workers in the food service industry (grocery, delivery, restaurants, etc.) whose role is/was critical in supporting their community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Dodgers are proud to launch this year’s Dodgers Love LA Community Tour by welcoming Champions in the Community to Dodger Stadium, as we thank those Angelenos that helped our community get through these difficult times,” said Naomi Rodriguez, Dodger Vice President of External Affairs & Community Relations. “We’re excited for a month of engagements in partnership with Bank of America - an annual supporter of the Tour - to connect our players with fans and civic groups making a difference in our community.”

More information on the Champions in the Community Digital Campaign and updates on future Dodgers Love LA Community Tour events will be available at Dodgers.com/CommunityTour.
