OAKLAND, Calif. — Right-handed pitcher Drew Rucinski underwent successful surgery for his lumbar spine with Dr. Watkins Jr. in Los Angeles today. He performed a decompression and L5 – S1 fusion surgery without complications. Rucinski will be out for the remainder of the season.
