The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that four Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

San Diego Padres Minor League pitcher Elias Batista and New York Mets Minor League catcher Jan Carlos Osorio, each of whom are currently on their organization’s Dominican Summer League affiliate, have each received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Program.

Atlanta Braves Minor League catcher Jose Camacaro, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Braves, has received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Program.

Toronto Blue Jays Minor League pitcher Luis Quinones, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Lansing Lugnuts of the Midwest League, has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Nandrolone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Program.

The suspensions of all four players will be effective at the start of their respective 2020 seasons.
