ANAHEIM, CA - Angels General Manager Billy Eppler released the following statement regarding Angels RHP Justin Anderson.

“Justin Anderson recently underwent an MRI that revealed a tear of the UCL in his right elbow. UCL reconstruction surgery is the recommended course of treatment. The procedure is scheduled to be performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, July 22nd. Additional information will be provided as appropriate.”
