MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today announced that country music superstar Kenny Chesney will return to perform at Miller Park next season as part of his Chillaxification 2020 Tour. When he takes the stage on Saturday, April 25, 2020, he will be joined by Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Michael Franti & Spearhead.

This will mark the fifth time that Chesney will perform at Miller Park and the fourth time that he will headline here. Chesney performed in Farm Aid’s 25th anniversary concert in 2010 and has rocked the house during his No Shoes Nation Tour in 2013, Spread the Love Tour in 2016 and most recently his Trip Around the Sun Tour in 2018.

“We’re proud to welcome Kenny Chesney, a music legend, back to Miller Park,” said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. “Kenny has packed the ballpark and delivered unforgettable shows to our fans over the years, and we’re honored to bring him back again next spring.”

Chesney, deemed “The King of the Road” by The Wall Street Journal," is one of the most-decorated country music artists of all-time. He was named the top new male vocalist in 1997 by the Academy of Country Music (ACM), which also awarded him Entertainer of the Year honors four years in a row from 2004-07. Chesney was bestowed the same honor by the Country Music Association in 2004 and from 2006-08, dominating a decade of country music like few artists had done before.

Chesney has had 30 No. 1 hits, beginning with “She’s Got It All” from his 1997 album I Will Stand. This list has also included “When the Sun Goes Down,” “Summertime,” “I Go Back,” “American Kids,” “All the Pretty Girls,” “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems,” and most recently, “Get Along.” He has produced 17 studio albums, including his last, Songs for the Saints, last year, and sold in excess of 30 million albums in total. Despite only headlining since 2002, Chesney is the only country artist in the Top 10 on Billboard_’s Top Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years.

Florida Georgia Line first captivated the industry with their hit single, “Cruise,” in 2012, which surpassed 10 million copies sold to earn the _Recording Industry Association of America_®’s diamond certification and is the best-selling digital country single of all-time. Since then, the duo has continued to break records and create music that crosses between country and other genres of music, including 2018 three-time platinum-certified single “Meant to Be,” featuring Bebe Rexha, which sat atop _Billboard_’s Hot Country Songs chart for a record-setting 28 weeks in a row.

Florida Georgia Line has produced four studio albums, including “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country” earlier this year, and exceeded 4.2 billion streams, 31 million tracks and more than 4.3 million albums sold worldwide. This past year, they were awarded with _Billboard_’s inaugural Trailblazer Award for their forward-thinking approach to music.

Old Dominion, a five-member band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, broke onto the scene in 2014 and has taken the country music scene by storm in recent years. Recent honors include earning Group of the Year at both the 2018 and 2019 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards.

The band has surpassed one billion on-demand streams, notched seven chart-topping hits on country radio and has earned Platinum certifications for singles “No Such Things as a Broken Heart” and “Written in the Sand” and Gold certifications for their single “Hotel Key” and sophomore album _Happy Endings
. This will mark Old Dominion’s third consecutive appearance performing with Chesney at Miller Park.

Franti first entered the world of music in 1986, forming an industrial punk/spoken word band, The Beatnigs, in San Francisco. He has since performed with two other groups, including cofounding an industrial hip-hop band, The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, in 1990 and joining Spearhead in 1994, which has released seven studio albums, most recently “The Sound of Sunshine” in 2010.

In addition to Chesney, Miller Park has played host to George Strait’s Country Music Festival (2001), N’Sync (2001), Bruce Springsteen (2003), Randy Travis (2004), Bon Jovi (2005), Kid Rock/Sugarland (2008), Paul McCartney (2013), One Direction (2015), Ed Sheeran (2018) and Billy Joel (2019). It has also hosted numerous non-baseball events, including international soccer matches in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
