Levi’s® and San Francisco Giants honor Bay Area non-profits during COVID-19 pandemic

July 2nd, 2020

Levi’s® and the Giants are teaming up this summer to honor six non-profit organizations in the Bay Area community who are taking action and making a difference for those most in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our world has changed in ways we could have never imagined, making the essential work of organizations working hard to assist others in our community that much more crucial,” said Anna Walker, Vice President of Public Affairs. “Now more than ever, it’s important to come together to help those facing this pandemic.”

The following organizations are longstanding partners of both Levi’s® and the Giants. Each nonprofit will receive a grant to assist them in providing resources and services for the populations they serve who need an extra hand during these unprecedented times. In addition, as the mandate to wear face coverings continues for the foreseeable future, Levi’s® is providing reusable masks to each organization to share with staff and volunteers who continue to be on the frontlines in our communities.

“We are proud that through our partnership with Levi’s® we can recognize the resiliency of these community organizations to respond to the current needs of their clients in this unsettling time,” said Jason Pearl, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development, San Francisco Giants.
