Sunday, August 15 -- Aaron Sele and Joseph Kearney will be inducted into the Washington State Sports Hall of Fame during a pregame ceremony. Kearney, who was Athletic Director at the University of Washington from 1969-1976 and commissioner of the Western Athletic Conference from 1980-1994, will be inducted posthumously.

Hometown Hero (Mid 4th) – Shelley Sutton, Registered Nurse at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Seattle. During the pandemic, she and her colleagues treated cancer patients undergoing bone marrow transplants who required special care due to their compromised immune systems.
