FLUSHING, N.Y., July 13, 2020 – The New York Mets announced that the club will open its Summer Camp Alternate Site at MCU Park in Brooklyn today. All practices and baseball-related activities by the Mets at MCU Park are closed to the public and media, consistent with MLB guidelines to ensure the health and safety of the players.

The Mets also added seven players to their 60-man Player Pool, including RHP Matt Blackham, LHP Stephen Gonsalves, infielder Jake Hager, RHP Jordan Humphreys, RHP Franklyn Kilome, catcher David Rodríguez and LHP Thomas Szapucki. The Mets 60-man Player Pool now stands at 58.
