Minnesota Twins Homestand Highlights: May 23-29

Division-leading Twins to host Detroit and Kansas City for seven games in seven days; Theme Nights, Promotional Giveaways and/or Ticket Deals available for each

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The first-place Minnesota Twins, who come home after a 5-1 roadtrip with a 4.0-game lead in the American League Central division and the AL’s third-best record overall at 25-16 (.610), return to Target Field tonight for a seven-game, seven-day homestand through Memorial Day weekend. The Twins are set to host a pair of divisional opponents, welcoming Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers for three games tonight-Wednesday (May 23-25), and the Kansas City Royals for a four-game, Memorial Day weekend series Thursday-Sunday (May 26-29).

Lead Off Your Summer with Twins Baseball

The Twins are inviting fans to lead off their summer at Target Field with tickets starting at $9 for all home games from Memorial Day weekend through the end of June. These tickets, which include Ballpark Access, along with Field View and Diamond View seats, are available for purchase from now through May 30 (subject to availability) at twinsbaseball.com/tickets.

  • Weather Day with KARE 11: As part of this annual event, select schoolchildren will participate in an educational pregame celebration of weather, science and Twins baseball with the KARE 11 Weather team.
  • STEM Day: Prior to the game, select schoolchildren will participate in an educator-developed curriculum experience at Target Field Station; this year, and in conjunction with the Minnesota Robotics Coaches Association, the event will feature robotics demonstrations.
  • MPLS – This Is Our City: In 2022, the Target Field outfield wall signage reads “MPLS – This Is Our City.” The Twins, as full partners with others in Minneapolis and beyond, are committed to supporting positive change in our city focused on racial equity and social justice.   • Celebrating Sydney Peterson: Lake Elmo, Minnesota native Sydney Peterson, a three-time cross-country skiing medalist for the United States at the 2022 Beijing Paralympics, will be honored during pregame ceremonies. Peterson, a Stillwater High School graduate who is currently on the Nordic skiing team at St. Lawrence University, won gold in the 4x2.5-kilometer mixed relay, silver in the 15km classic and bronze in the freestyle sprint.

Prior to the game, the Twins will recognize Prostate Cancer Foundation representatives, including founder and chairman Michael Milken; the Twins will also pledge $5,000 for every home run hit by a Minnesota player during games from June 1 through Father’s Day on June 19 (up to $50,000).
