Outfielder Luis Robert of the Chicago White Sox has been voted the American League Rookie of the Month for July-August, and infielder Jake Cronenworth has been named the National League Rookie of the Month for July-August. The announcements were made earlier today on MLB Network.
Robert earned his first career monthly award and is the second consecutive White Sox player to claim Rookie of the Month, following his teammate Eloy Jiménez last September. Cronenworth was also awarded his first monthly award and became the first Friar to earn NL Rookie of the Month honors since Christian Villanueva in April 2018.
