Blue Jays announce high performance staff change

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS today announced that Head Athletic Trainer NIKKI HUFFMAN has decided to leave the organization to pursue other opportunities.

“Over the past four years, Nikki has contributed significantly to our evolution of providing cutting edge training and care to our players,” said Ross Atkins, Executive Vice President, Baseball Operations and General Manager, Toronto Blue Jays. “We thank her for her tireless work ethic and look forward to seeing her success in the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Huffman was named Head Athletic Trainer in December 2017, following two seasons with the Blue Jays. She began with the club as Physical Therapist and Rehab Coordinator in December 2015 and was promoted to Head Physical Therapist the following year.
