OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s will celebrate Bay Area educators and their dedication to making our communities and classrooms brighter during Teacher Appreciation Week, presented by Ross Dress for Less, from May 3 to 7.
Each day during Teacher Appreciation Week, the A’s will select a Bay Area educator to receive a special gift package, including two tickets to the A’s game on May 7, and recognition on the A’s social channels. Fans can self-nominate or nominate an educator in the Bay Area who they believe deserves recognition for their hard work. Nominations can be submitted at athletics.com/teacher through Sunday, May 2.
The A’s will cap off Teacher Appreciation Week by hosting Teacher Appreciation Night at the Oakland Coliseum on Friday, May 7, when the team hosts the Tampa Bay Rays at 6:40 p.m.
