OAKLAND, Calif. — To celebrate A’s fans and thank them for their loyal support, the organization will host its first A’s Spirit Week beginning on Monday, Jan. 23. The week-long celebration, in lieu of A’s FanFest, will include daily ticket deals, special giveaways on the A’s social media channels, community visits and donations, and more. The week of fun will conclude with a happy hour event open to all fans on Friday, Jan. 27. 

A’s Spirit Week ticket deals will kick off on Tuesday, Jan. 24, with a buy one, get one free offer on Opening Day tickets. The A’s open the 2023 season on Thursday, March 30, versus the Los Angeles Angels. Additional A’s Spirit Week deals include discounted ticket prices for select A’s promotional days, including drone and fireworks nights; tickets that include a chance to watch batting practice from the field; and fee-free tickets. On Saturday, Jan. 28, tickets for all 2023 regular season games will go on sale. 

Throughout the week, the A’s will continue to support the local community through events and donations to nonprofit partners. The A’s will surprise local middle school, high school, and college baseball and softball teams with lunch, A’s swag, equipment, and a donation to their athletic program. The A’s will also make a donation and host breakfast at a local elementary school. 

Fans are encouraged to follow the A’s social media channels (@athletics) throughout A’s Spirit Week for daily giveaways, including tickets, autographed items, and unique experiences. 

A’s Spirit Week will conclude on Friday, Jan. 27, with a happy hour event at Plank featuring bingo, raffles, and more. The event will be free and open to all fans.
