Thursday is highlighted by the Juan Soto Shuffle Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Canel’s featuring his famous shuffle batting stance, available to the first 40,000 fans in attendance.

Prior to Thursday’s game, Juan Soto will be presented with his 2022 Silver Slugger Award during the pregame ceremonies.

Representatives from the SDSU Men’s Basketball Team, including Coach Brian Dutcher and Guard Lamont Butler, will throw the game’s Ceremonial First Pitch in celebration of their historic season.

Friday, April 14 vs. Milwaukee Brewers @ 6:40 P.m.

City Connect Friday returns as the Padres will wear their Nike San Diego City Connect jersey on the field Friday featuring iconic California imagery with the vibrant colors of the Baja peninsula, honoring a blend of cultures that makes the city so special. The jersey evokes a pink and yellow sunset dropping behind the Pacific Ocean on a clear summer day.

Party in the Park: CocktailFest presented by Southwest Airlines returns on Friday, featuring live music and cocktail specials available for $5 and $10 in Gallagher Square from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

The Padres are celebrating the San Diego LGBTQ+ community on Friday with Out at the Park in partnership with San Diego Pride. While the Theme Game item is sold out, fans wishing to attend the game with Out at the Park can still purchase discounted tickets that include a donation to San Diego Pride. More information is available at www.padres.com/pride.

Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early on Friday to watch the Padres take batting practice prior to the game. Members can enter through East Village Gate as early as 3:00 p.m., with select Members receiving a credential to sit in designated seating closer to the field. Custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice, and the lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store.

Saturday, April 15 vs. Milwaukee Brewers @ 1:05 P.m.

All of Major League Baseball will celebrate Jackie Robinson Day on Saturday in honor of his historic MLB debut when he broke the color barrier. Wayne Robinson, the nephew of Jackie, will throw the game’s Ceremonial First Pitch before the Padres take on the Brewers. The Padres will also host a Breaking Barriers Forum the day prior in front of 200 students at San Diego High School featuring panelists who will share their notable and barrier-breaking experiences about how they have overcome racial, gender or other biases. Panelists will include:

  • Billy Bean, MLB Senior Vice President and Special Assistant to the Commissioner
  • Trent Grisham, Padres Outfielder
  • Miles McPherson (moderator), former NFL defensive back and pastor of The Rock church
  • Captain Amy Bauernschmidt, first female commander of United States aircraft carrier

A mural of Johnny Ritchey, who broke the color barrier for the Pacific Coast League Padres in 1948, will be unveiled at the high school immediately after the forum.

The Padres House Band will perform on the Sycuan Stage at Gallagher Square prior to Saturday’s game, featuring a mix of rock, oldies, pop and country music.

Sunday, April 16 vs. Milwaukee Brewers @ 1:10 P.m.

KidsFest presented by SDG&E is back at Gallagher Square with activities including:

Carnival games, airbrush tattoo artists, balloon artists, inflatables and more kid-friendly activities starting two hours prior to every Sunday home game.

Following the game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Craft Pier presented by Ballast Point on K Street.

The Padres will observe Military Appreciation Day at Petco Park by honoring POW/MIA presented by USAA. There will be a special military salute pregame ceremony, and nine former Prisoners of War and League of Wives will take the field with Padres starters as part of Military Takes the Field.

Monday, April 17 vs. Atlanta Braves @ 6:40 P.m.

In continuation of honoring Jackie Robinson and Johnny Ritchey, who followed in Robinson’s footsteps, the Padres will wear replicas of the 1948 PCL uniforms during Monday’s game to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Ritchey breaking the baseball color barrier on the West Coast, as well as what would have been his 100th birthday. The game-worn jerseys will be autographed and auctioned to benefit the Johnny Ritchey Scholarship Fund.

During Monday’s pregame ceremony, the Padres, in partnership with the Masons of California Foundation and Reality Changers, will announce the 10 winners of the Johnny Ritchey Scholarship Program, which is awarded to local high school students who embody the characteristics and qualities Ritchey displayed on and off the field. Additionally, Carlee Battle, granddaughter of Johnny Ritchey, will throw the game’s Ceremonial First Pitch.

The Padres will also celebrate African American Heritage in community partnership with local organizations. A limited-edition themed Padres hat similar to the 1948 PCL uniforms and a donation to a local community group are available exclusively with the purchase of an African American Heritage Celebration Theme Game ticket package at www.padres.com/themegames.
