The Padres return home from a six-day, five-game roadtrip to start a six-day, five-game homestand beginning on Friday, September 3 when the Houston Astros come to town.

The final BeerFest presented by Southwest Airlines of the regular season takes place on Friday. The party begins two hours prior to first pitch with live entertainment and $5 beer specials from a variety of local and national partners, including Ballast Point and Budweiser.

Prior to the game, the Padres will be hosting a First Responder Recruitment Fair—the largest of its kind in San Diego—in Gallagher Square with representatives from various San Diego organizations in attendance. KidsFest presented by The Super Dentists is back at Gallagher Square with new activities including:

Games, airbrush tattoo artists, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities starting two hours prior to every Sunday home game.

As part of Military Appreciation Day presented by USAA, the Padres are honoring military veterans with a special pregame ceremony and 410 marines from Marine Corps Recruit Depot in attendance.

During the pregame ceremony, there will be a moment of silence for 10 service members from Camp Pendleton that were killed in the Kabul Airport Strike.
