San Diego Padres vs. Atlanta Braves - Friday, July 12 @ 7:10 p.m.

The Padres return home from the All-Star break for their eighth homestand of the 2019 season, featuring three games against the Atlanta Braves. Action begins tonight with a 7:10 p.m. start.

The popular Party in the Park series returns on Friday with Country Night presented by Southwest Airlines. Elements include:

The party begins at 4:30 p.m. with live entertainment, $5 drink specials and a country theme.

Friday is Nordic Heritage Night at Petco Park, a night to recognize the San Diego Nordic community. A limited-edition Nordic-themed Padres hat is available by purchasing a dedicated Nordic Heritage Night Theme Game package. For information, please visit www.padres.com/nordic.

Friday will also serve as a First Responder Salute: San Diego County Sheriff’s & Probation Departments, featuring:

Deputies and officers representing the San Diego County Sheriff’s & Probation Departments will participate in a baseline ceremony.

Deputy Officer John Kaloustian of the San Diego County Probation Department will ring the Ceremonial Mission Bell.

Sr. Officer Augustine Eclarin of the San Diego County Probation Department will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.

Deputy Roland Garza of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will perform the National Anthem.

A flyover will be conducted by a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Astrea Helicopter prior to the game.

Five representatives from both the San Diego County Sheriff’s & Probation Departments will take the field to greet Padres starters at their positions.

The fifth CollegeFest of 2019 takes place on Friday as part of the Country-themed Party in the Park. Fans can purchase CollegeFest tickets by visiting www.padres.com/college.

Grab Bag Day takes place Friday and Sunday. Past theme game items from 2019 will be available with each ticket purchased through the theme game ticket link on www.padres.com/themegames. Fans will have the option to select one item at their time of purchase, and additional grab bag items will be available for purchase on Friday and Sunday for $10. Items are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Freedom Reserve Section presented by Budweiser ($5 tickets for Monday through Thursday games and $10 tickets for Friday through Sunday games) will be available every home game for active duty military and their dependents.

As part of Baseball Night in San Diego, all fans in attendance on Saturday will receive an Aloha Shirt presented by Southwest Airlines. Five sizes are available in Youth Large and Adult Medium, Large, XL and 2XL on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Upon entry, fans will receive an Adult XL Aloha Shirt or an exchange voucher to redeem for an alternate size at three locations: Park at the Park, Park Blvd. Gate and Home Plate Gate.

Military Appreciation: United States Coast Guard Appreciation Day presented by USAA takes place on Sunday. Elements of the day include:

Approximately 100 representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard will be recognized during a baseline ceremony.

Chief Boatswain’s Mate Michael Gould, the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Enlisted Person of the Year, will ring the Ceremonial Mission Bell.

Command Master Chief Greg Via, U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego, will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.

U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Second Class Mike Dalager will perform the National Anthem and God Bless America.

A flyover will be conducted by two MH-60 Jayhawk Helicopters from U.S Coast Guard Sector San Diego.

Nine representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard will take the field to greet Padres starters as part of the “Military Take the Field.”

Charlie Brown Day takes place on Sunday as the Padres will celebrate Peanuts, one of the most widely-acclaimed comic series of all-time. A limited-edition Padres-themed Charlie Brown bobblehead is available by purchasing a Charlie Brown Day Theme Game package. For more information, please visit www.padres.com/peanuts.

In what has been known as “Martial Arts Day” at Petco Park in the past, the Padres will pay tribute to Bruce Lee on Sunday to celebrate his legacy and his immense contributes to the martial arts field. In community partnership with The House of Panama and the San Diego Sister Society, the Padres will celebrate Panama Heritage Day. Also on Sunday is the 11th Annual “Phil’s BBQ at the Ballpark,” a private pregame tailgate party at Tailgate Park beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Padres and Phil’s BBQ are raising funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters Operation Bigs. KidsFest presented by Chick-fil-A, Compadres Kids Sunday Signings and Postgame Kids Run the Bases activities include:

KidsFest presented by Chick-fil-A features bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities in Park at the Park beginning at 10:30 a.m.

From 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., two Padres players will sign autographs at the Park at the Park for Compadres Kids Sunday Signings. A Compadres Kids membership is required to participate. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online at www.padres.com/compadres or in-person on the day of the event.

Following Sunday’s game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Craft Pier presented by Ballast Point on K Street. Compadres Kids members will receive front-of-the-line privileges by lining up at the Park Blvd Gate Plaza.

Friar Family Days presented by Denny’s takes place every Sunday through Thursday Padres home game, which includes a special ticket package offer that features $20 tickets for adults and $15 tickets for kids 14 and younger.
