San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies - Friday, September 6 @ 7:10 p.m.

The Padres return home from their 11th road trip, a seven-day, seven-game trip, for their 12th homestand of the 2019 season featuring games against the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs. Action begins tonight with a 7:10 p.m. start against the Colorado Rockies.

The final CocktailFest presented by Southwest Airlines of 2019 takes place on Friday. Elements include:

The party begins at 4:30 p.m. at Park at the Park with live entertainment $10 mixed cocktail specials featuring Tequila Herradura, Evan Williams Bourbon and Cutwater Spirits and $5 canned cocktails from Cutwater Spirits. All cocktail specials are available exclusively with Friar Funds.

Friday is Native American Heritage Night presented by Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. Representatives from the San Diego Native American community will be recognized during the pregame ceremonies, and a Native American-themed Padres hat is available by purchasing a dedicated Theme Game Package. The annual Padres Foundation Mystery Ball Fundraiser takes place on Friday through the end of the 6th inning and will continue on Saturday through the end of the 3rd inning or while supplies last. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a “Mystery Box” containing an autographed baseball signed by a Padres player, MLB star or Hall of Famer for a $40 donation to the Padres Foundation and their efforts to benefit youth baseball and softball programs. Mystery Boxes will be available in multiple locations throughout the ballpark including Section 101 and Section 109 on the main concourse, Park at the Park near the wiffle ball field and the Western Metal Supply Co. Building concourse.

Fan Rewards Month presented by Donovan’s Steak & Chop House begins on Friday and will run through September 26, featuring a variety of activities to thank Padres fans for their support. Fans are encouraged to download the MLB Ballpark app and enable check-in offers for the chance to win prizes. During every Padres home game, fans will be treated to check-in prizes, exclusive experiences, seat upgrades and more. Approximately 150 students from the Sweetwater School District Choir Night will perform the National Anthem prior to Friday’s game.

The Freedom Reserve Section presented by Budweiser ($5 tickets for Monday through Thursday games and $10 tickets for Friday through Sunday games) will be available every home game for active duty military and their dependents.

San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies - Saturday, September 7 @ 5:40 p.m.

As part of Baseball Night in San Diego, all fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Reusable Bag presented by MLB Network.

Pacific Islander Heritage Night will take place on Saturday in recognition of the San Diego Pacific Islander community. There will be Pacific Islander Heritage Night performances at Park at the Park prior to the game and a representative will perform the National Anthem. Saturday is Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. In collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), Major League Baseball will raise awareness for childhood cancer by wearing “gold” during Saturday’s game in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. All on-field personnel, including players, coaches, umpires and grounds crew members will wear gold ribbon decals and wristbands during the game. The Padres will honor 10 Superkids during the pregame ceremonies who are receiving cancer treatment and have been paired up with participants for the annual Padres Pedal the Cause fundraiser taking place at Petco Park on Saturday, November 16. Prior to the game, cancer survivor Zainab Khan will ring the Ceremonial Mission Bell, Parker Watson, a six-year-old cancer fighter, will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch, and 10-year-old cancer survivor Hannah Higgins will serve as the Play Ball Kid.

The Mystery Ball Fundraiser continues on Saturday through the end of the 3rd inning pending available inventory. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase an autographed baseball for a $40 donation to the Padres Foundation. Mystery Boxes will be available in Section 101 on the main concourse.

Sunday will serve as a Military Appreciation: Salute to Veterans presented by USAA. Elements of the day include:

Ray Flores, Executive Director of the San Diego Veterans Coalition, will ring the Ceremonial Mission Bell prior to Sunday’s game.

The United States Navy Parachute Team known as the “Leap Frogs” will perform during the pregame ceremonies.

Veterans from numerous San Diego Veterans Organizations and members of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society will line the baselines during the pregame ceremony.

Padres reliever Craig Stammen will be recognized as a 2019 Bob Feller Act of Valor Award finalist prior to the game for his support of service men and women.

Mac McLaughlin, President and CEO of the USS Midway Museum, will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.

U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Second Class Mike Dalager will perform the National Anthem before the game and sing God Bless America during the 7th-inning stretch.

Nine Docents from the USS Midway Museum will take the field to greet Padres starters as part of the “Military Take the Field.”

The first-ever Hello Kitty Day will take place on Sunday at Petco Park. Fans will have an opportunity to take photos with Hello Kitty herself at Park at the Park prior to the game. KidsFest presented by Chick-fil-A features bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities in Park at the Park beginning at 10:30 a.m.

From 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., two Padres players will sign autographs at the Park at the Park for Compadres Kids Sunday Signings. A Compadres Kids membership is required to participate. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online at www.padres.com/compadres or in-person on the day of the event.

Following Sunday’s game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Craft Pier presented by Ballast Point on K Street. Compadres Kids members will receive front-of-the-line privileges by lining up at the Park Blvd Gate Plaza.

Tuesday will also serve as Epilepsy Awareness Night in an effort to raise awareness and proceeds for a disorder that affects more than 50,000 people in San Diego County alone. A portion of the proceeds from every Epilepsy Awareness Night ticket sold will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County, and fans with the dedicated ticket will have a chance to participate in a Meet & Greet with Padres reliever Kirby Yates and his wife, Ashlee, who was diagnosed with epilepsy.

Wednesday will serve as a First Responder Salute: 9/11 Honor & Remembrance Day presented by National Funding. Elements include:

San Diego’s largest-ever First Responder Recruitment/Job Fair will take place at Park at the Park from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with 16 participating organizations. The event is free to the public until 2:30 p.m., and fans with a ticket to the game can access the event at 4:30 p.m.

A United States-shaped flag will be held in center field during the pregame ceremony.

Representatives from various first responder organizations will line the baselines during the pregame ceremony.

Padres Executive Chairman Ron Fowler and Dave Gilbert, Founder and CEO of National Funding, will present a $10,000 check to Firefighter Aid at Home Plate. Chief Colin Stowell from San Diego Fire-Rescue and Brandt Truver, President of Firefighter Aid, will accept the check on behalf of Firefighter Aid.

San Diego Sheriff’s Department Deputy Roland Garza will perform the National Anthem.

Deputy Chief John Wood from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and a member of California Task Force 8, which deployed to assist in the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade center on 9-11, will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch.
