The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced that the club intends to add right-handed pitchers Jared Jones, Ryder Ryan and Hunter Stratton to the roster prior to Opening Day. The team is also expected to place right-handed pitchers Carmen Mlodzinski and Colin Holderman, catcher Yasmani Grandal and infielder/outfielder Ji Hwan Bae on the injured list. Additional information on these roster moves will be provided on Opening Day.

The Pirates have optioned right-handed pitcher Quinn Priester to Triple-A Indianapolis. In addition, Billy McKinney, Jake Lamb, Gilberto Celestino, Brent Honeywell Jr., Grant Koch, Eric Lauer, Domingo German and Wily Peralta have been reassigned to minor league camp.
