The Pittsburgh Pirates have added catcher Andrew Knapp and outfielder Jake Marisnick to the active roster. To make rooom on the 40-man roster, outfielder Greg Allen has been placed on the 60- day injured list (left hamstring) and RHP Adonis Medina has been designated for assignment.
