Beginning on Friday, August 6, the Pirates are teaming up with the city of Pittsburgh and the Boys and Girls Club of Southwestern Pennsylvania to host the Pirates RBI Baseball and Softball Championships, presented by Nike, at PNC Park.
Over two days, 16 Pittsburgh area teams will participate in their respective title games with five games scheduled for Friday and three games to take place on Sunday. The winners of these games will be acknowledged in the pregame on-field ceremony on Sunday, August 29 as the Pirates host the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:05 p.m.
The game schedules and information for each day is below. All admission is free and limited concessions will be available.
Friday, August 6:

Parents and other attendees are asked to enter through the Legacy Gate located on West General Robinson Street next to the PNC Park Box Office.
Sunday, August 8:
9:00 a.m. Pony AA 14th Ward vs Northside
11:00 a.m. Colt Squirrel Hill vs 14th Ward
1:00 p.m. Super Colt 14th Ward vs McKeesport
Parents and other attendees are asked to enter through the People’s Home Plate Gate located on the corner of Mazeroski Way and West General Robinson Street.
The Pirates RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) operates with a mission to increase participation and diversity in the games of baseball and softball with a focus on the underserved and under-represented. Over 1,500 boys and girls ages 9-18 participate in RBI through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western PA with funding support from Pirates Charities.
