The Arizona Diamondbacks welcome the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury to Chase Field on Friday, August 11 for a special event Suns & Mercury night which includes:

- A ceremonial first pitch with Mercury Guard Diana Taurasi, who last week became the first player in WNBA history to reach an unprecedented 10,000 career points
- Appearances by Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury players
- Team mascots The Gorilla and Scorch
- Phoenix Suns In-Arena Host Alicia Blanco will perform the National Anthem
- In-game activations with Suns and Mercury players and Suns dancers
The D-backs are taking on the San Diego Padres in a 3-game series Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday’s gametime is 6:40 p.m., and fans are encouraged to arrive early for this special pregame ceremony with the Suns and Mercury.
