Texas Rangers game with Oakland A's on Thursday, August 27 at Globe Life Field changed to 5:37 p.m. start

Game to be carried nationally as FOX exclusive telecast

Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers and Major League Baseball announced today that the first pitch of the Thursday, August 27 game with the Oakland A’s at Globe Life Field has been moved from 6:07 p.m. CT to 5:37 p.m. CT.

The change in the starting time was requested by FOX, who will carry the game as a national exclusive telecast. The Rangers-A’s game will air in the Dallas-Fort Worth market on KDFW FOX 4.

Thursday will be the finale of a four-game series between Texas and Oakland. The games on Monday, August 24, Tuesday, August 25, and Wednesday, August 26 will be 7:05 p.m. CT starts.
