Hearn has gone 4-6 with a 5.50 ERA over 16 games/13 starts spanning two stints with the Rangers this season: Opening Day-June 25 and July 15-25. Each of his last 3 outings with Texas beginning June 25 have come in relief, posting a 1.59 ERA (4 R-2 ER/11.1 IP) in that span with 5 walks and 11 strikeouts. His last outing for the Rangers came on July 23 at Oakland (3.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R-ER, 60 pitches). He also has a 1-0 record and 4.50 ERA (8 ER/12.0 IP) over 3 games/2 starts for Round Rock in 2022, with his last appearance on Sunday vs. Sacramento.

He has 3.0 scoreless innings over his last 3 appearances with the Rangers spanning June and July, with his last Major League outing coming on July 14 vs. Seattle (1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R). Sborz has also made 19 appearances with Round Rock this season: 3-0, one save, 1.61 ERA (6 R-4 ER/22.1 IP), 11 walks, 30 strikeouts. He last pitched on Saturday vs. Sacramento.

The Rangers entered the day with one open spot on the active 26-man roster following the trade of right-handed pitcher Matt Bush to the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night.

Following today’s transactions, the Rangers remain at the 40-man limit on the club’s Major League roster, along with two players (Mitch Garver and Eli White) on the 60-day Injured List.
