Rays sell out home opener for Friday, April 9

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rays have announced that the 2021 home opener on Friday, April 9 at Tropicana Field against the New York Yankees is sold out. This marks the 15th consecutive season the Rays have sold out their home opener, excluding the 2020 season which was played without fans. The 2021 Rays season is presented by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

The game, slated for 3:10 p.m., will be televised locally by Bally Sports Sun. All Rays games are available on WDAE 95.3 FM/620 AM and more than 150 games are available in Spanish on Genesis 680 AM/92.9 FM and Caliente 96.1 FM/101.5 FM/1470 AM.

Tickets are available in socially distant seating pods for the remaining two games against the Yankees and for the four-game series versus the Texas Rangers (April 12-15).

Prior to all three games against the Yankees from April 9-11, all fans will receive a Schedule Magnet, presented by Tropicana. Upon entry to the game on Tuesday, April 13 against the Rangers, all fans will receive an American League Championship Replica Trophy, presented by GEICO. All promotional items are available while supplies last.
