Red Sox celebrate 'Fan Appreciation Weekend' during final homestand of the season

Players to greet fans at the gates Friday; Sunday pregame photos on the field with players and all fans invited to run the bases postgame; 'Golden Ticket' giveaways throughout the weekend

BOSTON, MA -- The Red Sox will celebrate fans this upcoming weekend during the final homestand of the season against the Baltimore Orioles. The three-game series will include players greeting fans at the gates, fans walking around the warning track, photos with players on the field, fans running the bases, and various giveaways throughout the weekend.

On Friday, September 27, Red Sox players will greet fans at all Fenway Park gates as they enter from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. and help distribute schedules for the 2020 season. Additionally, the club will host a special in-game party in the Vineyard Vines Club for all college and high school students using Student 9s tickets. Student 9s are available at redsox.com/student9s or by texting the word ‘students’ to 23215 to sign up for the program. A series of giveaways on Twitter and Snapchat will also take place throughout the game on Friday.

Before Sunday’s 3:05 p.m. game, players will be available on the field from 1:15 to 2 p.m. to take photos with fans as they walk around the warning track. All fans will be invited to run the bases postgame, presented by Marshalls. Fenway Park gates will open at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday – two hours before the game. Families are invited to attend the game through a special “Family 4 Pax” ticket opportunity that includes 4 tickets to the game, hot dogs, French fries, soda, and popcorn for $99. Family 4 Pax are made possible by Aramark and Mastercard and are available at redsox.com/family4pax.

Throughout the weekend, special “Golden Tickets” will be placed underneath random Fenway Park seats allowing fans to receive various giveaways including Opening Day tickets for the 2020 season, seat upgrades and access to premium areas, signed player photos, gift cards, performance gear, and replica World Series rings. Giveaways are made possible by contributions from JetBlue, Hotel Commonwealth, L.L.Bean, New Balance, Dunkin, iRobot, Indochino, and many other Red Sox corporate sponsors.
