Royals Charities Opening Series 50/50 raffle now open

Proceeds to benefit Urban Neighborhood Initiative

KANSAS CITY, MO. (July 23, 2020) -- As the 2020 season opens, Royals Charities is announcing an online 50/50 Raffle presented by Edelman & Thompson starting today, with proceeds benefitting the Urban Neighborhood Initiative. The raffle is now open and will close during the sixth inning of the Royals game vs. the Chicago White Sox on Sunday, August 2. The winning ticket number will be announced during the game and online at royals.com/5050, as well as on Royals Charities social media channels.

Fans who play must be located in Missouri or Kansas. This is the first season fans in Kansas are eligible to play the raffle online. Participants must go to royals.com/5050 to purchase tickets. The tickets cost three for $5, 10 for $10, 80 for $20 or 240 for $40. This special raffle will have a guaranteed minimum jackpot of $25,000. Half of the total jackpot will go to the winner, and the other half will go to the Urban Neighborhood Initiative.
